2021 Nielluccio Sangiovese - Clare Valley

A super smart, fresher take on Sangiovese from the Koerner Brothers. Fruit from the organically farmed Vivian vineyard in Watervale is gently handled and left in large format Slovonian oak for 9 months before a short spell in stainless prior to being bottled. This is a crunchy and pure wine, the crisp acidity complements the red fruit and spice, and the tannins are soft and fine. 

A great take on Sangiovese and an interesting wine for Clare Valley.
