All spice, ginger, tingling red peppercorns and definitely in the bright and light category. Set upon the infamous red sand and limestone soils of Merbein, this lovingly named Mother Block is the beating heart of the Chalmers Vineyard (encompassing not only vines but their home and business too). The habitation boasts many of the imported and nursed varieties that have since stretched to vineyards all over Australia thanks to the Chalmers family and their sustainable farming.
