2021 Shiraz/Viognier - Murrumbateman NSW

A new vintage from an old favourite. We’ve long been fans of Bryan Martin’s Ravensworth wines and given the 2020 vintage doesn’t exist, we were very excited to jump into this. Made from estate grown, organic fruit, a long slow ferment ensues (30% whole bunch) before a couple years in French oak. The is a deep and brooding cool climate wine. There is subtle power, dark fruit, exotic spice and a hint of pretty florals. This is a complex wine with plenty of layers to unravel and is a benchmark for the region.
