2023 Gamay - King Valley, VIC

A bright and crunchy take on Gamay from Beechworth-based Chris Catlow of Sentio Wines. 

Fruit from the Darling Estate high up in the hills around Whitfield is fermented with a mix of whole berry and whole bunches before resting in concrete. This is light and fine yet structured and flavoursome. Aromatic, red fruited with earthiness and spice. Year on year this is one of our favourite Australian Gamays.
