2021 Estate Nebbiolo - Beechworth

A properly serious Nebbiolo and easily one of the country’s best, the estate grown Nebbiolo made by Simon Grant at Traviarti is stunning. Coming off their home block of just 1000 vines, this is a low yielding, low production wine made with impressive attention to detail. It has intensity, power and proper Nebbiolo tannins alongside long acidity. It’s earth, it’s dried herbs, it’s a hint of tobacco, it is all the things. Delicious.
