2024 Chardonnay - King Valley

For the 2024, Tessa and Jeremy had to go further afield for fruit but fortunately ended up with stunning grapes from Claire Burder's Eminence vineyard in Whitlands at the top of the King Valley.

Bright and precise, this shows pure fruit with green apple, quince and a dash of citrus. In the mouth it's layered with silky lees texture and fine oak, carrying almond and white stone fruit. Fresh acidity keeps everything clean, while subtle creaminess and a touch of nutty oak add depth. Well-balanced now, with enough structure to develop further in bottle.
