2024 Chardonnay - West Gippsland VIC

On what was once an old dairy farm, Al and Adriana farm their 7 acres of vines organically whilst also attempting to re-wild the remaining land.

The 2024 season delivered lush, healthy vines and a generous Chardonnay crop. With the help of a new Velo bladder press and cool-room fermentations, this release shows beautiful purity and texture. Crafted from all four vineyard blocks, the wine combines whole-bunch and briefly skin-contact fruit, fermented in seasoned barrels and tank. The result is a bright, expressive Chardonnay with layered stone fruit, gentle citrus and a silky, balanced finish. This is wonderfully finessed and elegant drinking.
