2024 Negroamaro - Heathcote, VIC

Something a little different for Macedon Ranges based Mount Towrong vineyard, here they're taking the  Southern Italian grape Negroamaro grown at the Chalmers vineyard in northern Heathcote. Traditionally a big, brooding grape, here the take is lifted and elegant. This is deeply aromatic and dark with plenty of dark fruit and earthy spice with grippy tannins a dash of bright acidity. Really interesting whilst still being intensely drinakable.
